Activity: How-To Shoot at Bow
Trackers Kids live in two worlds: the real world and the world they create in their imaginations. Whether that’s a treetop nursery for baby dragons, an epic Ninja battle, or a prehistoric mammoth hunt, Trackers kids have rich fantasy worlds they inhabit. Re-entry from the imaginary to real world is not always easy.
Trackers Kids have wild imaginations, but they also have mad Trackers skills. They can track, hunt, build a fire and survive in the wilderness. They are a band of friends united by their love of nature and their thirst for adventure. The rotating cast of characters are:
Savanah is great at all the wilderness survival skills (carving, tracking, archer), but sometimes lacks imagination.
Josh is the quiet leader of the group. Inspired by the fantastic Trackers instructor of the same name, Josh is proud of his native heritage.
Frank is all about story. He isn’t as strong as Savanah with the wilderness skills, but his imagination compels the group to adventure. He’s also the go-to for great costumes.
Fiona is a bit of a trouble-maker, always spoiling for a fight. She’s independent and likes to do things her way.
Amelia Davis is an avid archer, hiker, biker, and camper who loves making comics and games (both board games and video games), in her spare time! Amelia has written and drawn comics since before she knew what comics were, and all of them were about the crazy adventures she went on in her imagination. Currently Amelia is working on a number of different comics that are soon to be published, but she can’t say much more than that. You can find out more about Amelia at ameliaddraws.com and on her facebook page. Lettering by Woody Arnold.
Michelle is a Trackers parent who has been writing and editing children’s books for more than 20 years. She’s had a passion for comics since her own childhood addiction and still has her original collection (all in plastic sleeves, of course), which she graciously shares with her children. When they’re being nice.
Tony is one of the founders of Trackers Earth. When he was young he eschewed high school and headed to the wilderness. There he found stories of the more-than-human-world that inspired him to bring people back to the wild.
